Halle Berry is officially off the market. The Academy Award Winning actress is engaged to Olivier Martinez. According to People magazine, the French actor purchased a diamond-and-emerald engagement ring from jewelry designer Gurhan tells. This news comes from a rep of the jewelry designer.

Berry, 45, and Martinez,46, have been dating for over a year now and met on the set of the 2010 film Dark Tide where the two co-starred.

Beyonce & Jay Z Take Baby Blue Home

Beyonce and Jay Z take their newborn daughter Blue Ivy Carter home on Tuesday. The couple were seen taking their 3 days old newborn baby in the wee morning hours on Tuesday. The Lenox Hill hospital has confirmed their departure.

NY Daily news provides a breakdown of the event:

"A procession of vehicles with blacked-out windows made a speedy exit from the upper East Side hospital’s side gate in the wee hours of Tuesday, witnesses said.

Two black SUVs motored quickly out of the facility’s E. 76th St. loading dock at 1:30 a.m.

Moments later, a van parked on a nearby corner reversed into the same loading dock, and the large roll-down gate closed.

The second SUV pulled in behind the van, apparently to prevent anyone from following the music icons and their newborn daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.

It was “very precise, very military-like,” one witness said.

“Immediately, security personnel began leaving the hospital.”

Beyonce, 30, checked into the hospital Friday night using the name Ingrid Jackson, a hospital staffer told the Daily News.

The couple brought their own bodyguards.

The child was born Saturday night on the sixth floor, near the neonatal intensive-care unit, sources said."

Jay is so over the moon about the birth of his little princess he wrote a song about her and posted it on his website.

Its so obvious how blessed and proud Jay Z feels about the birth of his baby girl, he raps "the most beautiful girl in the world," was "made in Paris," just before Knowles "shot an album package."

Jay even reveals that the couple had a miscarriage before Blue and how sad and scared they were "she might disappear". Awww so sweet and touching. Congrats to the Carter family.

Lindsay Lohan Gets Sued for Drivers Mistake

Lindsay Lohan just can't seem to catch a break from the courtroom drama. The actress is now being sued by a paparazzo who claims he was ran over by her car back in 2010 in which was being driven by a driver for Lohan.

Photographer Grigor Balyan is sueing Lohan claims hewas left badly injured after he being hit by the car the actor was riding in while leaving a Hollywood club on January 10, 2010.

Although Lohan wasn't driving the car, Balyan's lawyer, Neil Steiner, said the actor was being sued because the driver was operating under her instruction, reported Aceshowbiz. According to Steiner, Balyan was medically treated for orthopedic and neurologic injuries because of the car accident.

TMZ reports that Balyan's lawyer also claimed to have tried to settle with Lohan's insurance company, but they only made "an insignificant offer" while Balyan seeks to get "reasonable compensation."

The Re-opening Investigation of Natalie Woods Death Turns Up Nothing

The re-opened investigation into actress Natalie Wood's tragic death has turned up nothing according to cops.

The L.A. County Sheriff's Department says investigators have found nothing to lead them to believe Natalie's mysterious drowning off of a yacht in the Catalina Islands back in 1981 was anything but an accident.

"At this point, it is an accidental death," William McSweeney, chief of detectives for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, tells the Los Angeles Times. "Nothing has been discovered to suggest changing that at this time."

Sheriff's officials re-opened the case in November, saying they had new information about Wood's death, some of the info is believed to be from Dennis Davern, the captain of the yacht that Wood was sailing on the night she drowned off Catalina Island.

The case isn't closed ... yet. Cops say they're still investigating but feel they may never find any new evidence.

According to The NY Daily, B and Jay along with family checked into the hospital under the alias Ingrid Jackson, and even may have rented out the entire fourth floor for $1.3 million dollars.

Are you hoping for a leaked photo to hit the net? I don't think that's going to happen because a source reveals that the hospital went through extreme measures for that Not to happen -- hospital security cameras taped and employees mandated to turn in cell phones when they arrived to start their shifts.

The 49 year old former child actress tells People via her publicist that she wants to speak out about her sexuality and help kids who are struggling with being bullied.

She "is very sad about kids being bullied," her publicist Jeff Ballard tells PEOPLE. "She hopes that coming out can help kids who need support. She would like to help others who feel different."

McNichol's has been living with her partner Martie Allen for 2 decades.

The actress last acting gig was on the hit TV show Empty Nest which was a spin-off show from the Golden Girls -- she decided to leave acting to focus on her health. Ballard said, "She is very happy and healthy," says Ballard. "And she enjoys living a very private life."

Nick Cannon Hospitalized for Kidney Failure

Nick Cannon has been hospitalized for kidney failure. His wife R&B diva Mariah Carey posted the above picture via Twitter asking her followers to pray for her hubby:

"Please pray for Nick as he's fighting to recover from a mild kidney failure. #mybraveman," the singer wrote on Twitter Wednesday, alongside a photo of her helping Cannon take a drink in his hospital bed.

Carey later elaborated in a post on her website: "Last year it was me attached to the machines (after having dembabies) and Nick was there with me through it, and now here we are."

She added: "We're trying to be as festive as possible under the circumstances but please keep Nick in your thoughts because this is very painful. ... I'm not trying to make light out of the situation because it's a serious moment that's very tough on all of us so please keep us and our family in your prayers."

The two were in Aspen celebrating the New Year.
