Fashion Week Wraps Up In Style

Fashion week wrapped up in style this week at Bryant Park. The collections represented beauty, sophistication and elegance. There were a few that had some outlandish designs but the majority focused on staying away from the bizarre looks that are only good for runway.

Say What...... Penis Trousers

Designer Isabel Mastache collection featured at Madrid Fashion Week included avant-garde, penis trousers for men. What was she thinking when she designed these awful nasty looking pants. And to make it even worse the arm jacket thing looks a hot mess. I won't even talk about the mesh of knit on the top of the model head which looks like he is being attacked by some colorful sea urchin.

Glamor eyes out and shimmery eyes in at 2010 fashion week. The bold glamor/ exotic eye was no where to be found on runway during this year's fashion week. The trend was shimmery eyes paired with earth tone make-up. The look was subtle with a touch of wow.

Model Takes A Tumble Twice During Haiti Relief Fashion Show

Model falls twice on the runway at Haiti Relief Fashion Show during fashion week. British model Agyness Deyn took a tumble while walking the runway during model Naomi Campbell’s Fashion For Relief Haiti event at Mercedes-Benz NY Fashion Week.

The 26-year-old British model lost balance while strutting the catwalk in Burberry platform shoes, which had 7″ heels. Proving the show must go on, she got right back up only to fall again.

Agyness finally gave up on the shoes and took them off and walked barefoot for the rest of the runway.

Later Agyness did what all celebs do now days after something crazy happens, they tweet about it: “1st show of fashion week! Took a tumble! Got up! Fell again. Should have stayed down the 1st time. Twice! WTF! Ouch my knees!”

Celebrity Fashionista of the week: Cyndi Lauper

Celebrity fashionista of the week is singer Cyndi Lauper. The pop/rocker looked totally fierce in her black Alexander McQueen blazer paired with Alexander McQueen Geometric print leggings.

The 56 year old proves she still knows how to make a fashion statement on the red carpet.

Oh yeah, if your wondering who the powdered down female in all white is, its none other then Lady Gaga.

Alex McQueen also has the matching shoes to go with Laupers geometric print leggings that happened to be this weeks must have/ don't be afraid to wear fashion styles that are outside of the norm:

Rihanna continues to push the envelope in fashion. While promoting her album in Asia, the R&B star wore a edgy Alexandre Vauthier black jacket from the recent Spring 2010 Couture paired with a peachy Isaac Mizrahi Spring 2010 skirt. Some critics did not like this look but I did. This look is truly Rihanna, edgy, fierce and sophisticated all in one.

- iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove is the new face for Neutrogena. The 16-year-old actress/singer joins actresses Gabrielle Union, Hayden Panettiere, Vanessa Hudgens and Jennifer Garner as the faces of the brand.

“My friends and I have always loved the Neutrogena brand and their ability to help inspire confidence,” Miranda said in a statement. “So when I found out I was actually going to be part of the Neutrogena family I was really excited!”

Miranda’s first ad will debut in early spring!

Zipper heels never looked so good. These sexy/rock style Giuseppe Zanotti chain-detailed strap ankle-boots are calling my name. Just looking at them makes me want to strut my walk on the runway.

Ralph Lauren adds his flair to the Winter Olympics uniforms. The U.S. athletes will wear the new Ralph Lauren designs to the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics in Vancouver next week on February 12.

Description: The uniforms, consisting of navy puffer jackets with infamous Polo logo, winter-white tapered pants, and Fair Isle knit hats. The design was inspired by the 1932 Lake Placid games.

Twilight and True Blood stars provide hotness to Calvin Klein's underwear ad campaign. Twilight star, Kellan Lutz has been confirmed as the new spokesmodel for CK's underwear campaign. Its a shame that someone (he) can make a pair of underwear look so good. True Blood star Mechad Brooks adds his flavor to CK's famous underwear ad. All I have to say about him is Bodylicious. Brooks can now be seen on the new TV drama The Deep End.

Grammys Red-Carpet Showcases A Variety of Style Hits & Misses. Here are our Best Dressed Winners:

- Keri Hilson was glamorous from head to toe in her Dolce & Gabana crystal belted tulle mermaid gown.

- Lea Michelle has been on point at all her red-carpet appearances so far this year. The Glee star looked amazing, youthful and sexy in her black Romona Keveza Spring 2010 dress with feather like skirt bottom.

- Carrie Underwood was a total Greek goddess in this white one shoulder asymmetrical gown by

- Beyonce was sizzling hot in this neutral Stéphane Rolland Fall 2009 gown which had a piping design. The dress fit B like a glove. It caressed every curve perfectly and showed just enough cleavage. I was disappointed in Beyonce's hair, it looked dry and had some glitter highlights that just wasn't appealing at all). Her hair looked much better at her perfume launch in New York (see next page).

Worst Dressed @ the Grammys

The worst dressed at the Grammys had a slew of awful hot messes for the picking. But these two - Britney Spears and Ciara know better. They have walked the red-carpet many times and they each have a enough star power to have a A-list stylist.

- I don't know what Britney Spears looked like except that she looked a hot mess. The hair, the body suit jacket thing showing her legs was a HOT MESS.

Ciara looked like she was going to exotic party wearing this bolero and lace jumpsuit from Givenchy. All she needed was a leather whip.

Lady Gaga's Grammy Looks Win Best Artistic

Although the average person would not wear Lady Gaga's Grammy looks, we had to give her the award for Best Artistic. You have to admit that the craftsman ship of these costumes are amazing and perfect for the runway to add artistic flair.

Wearing this solar system themed Swarovski crystal costume from Armani Prive, Gaga surely knows how to keep us interested.
