Worst Dressed @ the Met Gala
photos: people.com
As always there were some fashion no no's at the Met Gala. Some gowns we were just not feeling and a few "Oh No She Didn't" ones:
- Katy Perry went weird in this glow in the dark Cute Circuit gown. It was more like leave it in the dark.
- Kristen Stewart who has been rocking the rocker/tom boy chic on the red-carpet went dark and gloomy with this Chanel Haute Couture gown. She looked a hot mess. Even the hair and make-up needed a do over.
- Maggie Gyllenhaal's Luis Vuitton gown looked too much like something Dracula's wife would wear
- Chole Sevigny needed to leave this teal lace Proenza Schouler on the rack. The layered lace look made her look dumpy. She needed something to showcase her curves.

Burberry Gears Up to Compete Against Major Cosmetic Lines
Burberry is launching its first cosmetics line in July 2010. WWD reports that the brand announced that it will launch its first line of makeup. Christopher Bailey, Burberry’s creative director, said the line is a result of his frustrations with caky, off-color makeup at fashion shows. So, he did what any entrepreneur would do – he created his own makeup line.
The collection will consist of almost 100 beauty products, including a $24 lip pencil and a $59 foundation compact, and is licensed by Inter Parfums SA. The inspiration is said to be the iconic Burberry trenchcoat. Bailey said, “Like the trenchcoat, it can be worn anywhere and at any time.”
Additional products include liquid foundation, powder, eye shadow, mascara, eyeliner, lip gloss, lipstick, bronzer, and blush. Nordstrom will carry the new cosmetic line in its stores.

Lane Bryant Ad Gets Banned For Too Much Cleavage On Plus Size Models
The new Lane Bryant ad gets banned because the networks felt there was too much cleavage for TV. ABC was the first network to refuse to air the ad on their network during Dancing with the Stars. Fox stepped up and agreed to air the ad during American Idol but later decided that there was too much breast for their network as well.
Lane Bryant had had enough and disputed Fox's ruling to not air the ad because they had aired a Victoria's Secret ad during American Idol which showed the same amount of cleavage. Fox then changed their mind and agreed to air the ad.
A source at Lane Bryant tells The New York Post that ABC felt "the cleavage of the plus-size models, they said, was excessive, and we don't think that's the case."
The battle of accusations continues with ABC accusing Lane Bryant of stirring up free press. ABC said, "Their statements are not true. The ad was accepted. Lane Bryant was treated absolutely no differently than any other advertiser for the same product. We were willing to accommodate them, but they chose to seek publicity instead."
OK, I don't see how ABC could have banned this ad when the ladies on DWTS costumes are so revealing.

photos: dlisted
Oh no he didn't, he looks a hot mess. Interior Designer Bobby Trendy was spotted out pumping gas wearing this hideous attire and dark black lip stick around his mouth like a made up clown. Will someone QUICKLY give him a much needed makeover from head to toe.
Just think about this, people pay big bucks for this man to design the inside of their home. Um...NOT.

SayWhatNews celebrity fashionista of the week is none other than Jennifer Lopez. J.Lo has been hitting the media circuit this week to promote her new movie 'The Back Up Plan' and she has been looking fashionably amazing at each event. She really knows how to choose the perfect dress to accentuate her curves.
- Jennifer Lopez arrived at the “Us Weekly Hot Hollywood Style Issue Event” in LA last night with her famous sexy face. Wearing a nude Georges Chakra Spring 2010 Couture dress which is re-menace of what a female Gladiator would wear. I like the look, its a risk taker and very different.
- At the L.A. premiere the night before Jennifer Lopez hit the red-carpet wearing this stunning silver one-shoulder Gianfranco Ferré dress. This dress is so classy and sophisticated with a touch of sexy. J.Lo's hair and make-up was perfect.

Victoria Beckham the Covergirl for Germany's Vogue
Victoria Beckham is the covergirl for Germany's Vogue Magazine. The cover photo really shows her beauty in a different light, its not so glamorous with a lot of make-up but yet its an edgy/soft picture of the Spice Girl/Fashion Mogul.
Here is what Victoria had to say about her passion for fashion:
“My true passion belongs the fashion. I fulfilled a life long dream by staring my own label. It’s my baby. Although I’m now in my fourth seasons, I always feel nervous before and during the show. As a Spice Girl I could hide behind the other 4 girls, during my presentations I’m totally responsible”.

The Big Reveal: Celebs Show Their True Selves
The big reveal: Celebs show their true selves without all the photo-shopping that makes them look perfect.
Jessica Simpson's Marie Claire photo-shoot without the use of her glam squad showcased her natural beauty and proved that she is just as normal like the rest of us.
Britney Spears gave the OK to show the before and after shots of her Candy's ad. Wow, Britney is not as perfect looking as we all believed. Brit is a everyday girl with hips and even a some what flat behind. Thanks Britney for showing that no one is perfect and we all have what it takes to be a covergirl with just a touch of photo magic.
Kim Kardashian's Harper Bazaar nude layout without photo-shopping showed that our favorite Doll has a few small imperfections on her body. And she still looks beautiful. Dam it Kim, do you ever look bad? (lol) I've seen her without make-up with just a pony-tail and she still looked hot.
