Solange Knowles gets a beauty deal. The singer signed on as one of the new faces for Rimmel London which is part of the Coty Inc. brand.

Other stars who have been added as faces of the brand include Zooey Deschanel and model Alejandra Ramos Munoz.

About their new spokes models, Coty’s CEO Bernd Beetz had this to say:

“Zooey, Solange and Alejandra each bring a distinct look and personality to Rimmel London, expanding the brand’s visibility and strengthening Coty’s global color platform.”

Tommy Hilfiger Brand sold for Billions. The one time popular American fashion house was sold to the owner of Calvin Klein Brand.Apparel company Phillips-Van Heusen agreed to buy fashion brand Tommy Hilfiger from London-based Apax Partners in a cash-and-stock deal for an estimated $3 billion to boost its presence in Europe and Asia.

Phillips-Van Heusen is the owner of other popular brands like IZOD and Calvin Klein.

After a rocky couple of years and an award winning/chart topping album, Amy Winehouse gears up to launch her own fashion line. The soul singer seems to finally be getting her life back on track and now she is ready to take the fashion world by storm.

Winehouse is collaborating with Fred Perry to create this new fashion line.

"Amy has been wearing Fred Perry for years, so we were aware she was a genuine fan of the brand," said Richard Martin, Fred Perry's marketing director.

The 17-item collection, consisting mostly of black and white pieces, features twinsets, gingham shirts, pencil skirts; capri pants, a mini bowling dress, and Fred Perry's signature polo shirts. The range is due to hit stores in October, and will be sold over four seasons.

Editor of French Vogue Carine Roitfield admits that she and the magazine have been banned from Balenciaga shows.

"We're blacklisted. It's too bad, it's a beautiful house and it's French. I hope that it's not forever", Roitfield said.

No word as to why the ban has been put in place but according to reports the magazine can not use their clothes for editorials and Balenciaga will not advertise in the magazine.

Friday March 5th, in New York: Beyonce opens up her own Cosmetology Center. The singer unveiled the new Beyonce Cosmetology Center at the Phoenix House in Brooklyn New York. The new center will offer a residential substance abuse treatment program that will teach men and women how to prepare for a career in cosmetology.

Beyonce who is known for her charity, donated her acting salary from her 2008 film Cadillac Records to the Phoenix House non-profit substance abuse service organization, Forbes reports.
