Robert Downey Jr. is named Entertainment Weekly’s Entertainer of the Year. With a #1 hit movie Iron Man, Downey is ending 2008 with a big bang by earning the #1 spot out of 25 entertainers who have been recognized by EW. Other stars named are Tina Fey, Jonas Brothers, Katy Perry and Michael Phelps.

Sister Act Heads For The Big Stage

Whoopi Goldberg announced that she will be bringing her 1992 mega hit movie Sister Act to the Broadway stage in London. The stage production will debut June 2, 2009 in London’s Palladium.

Whoopi will not star in the stage production about a lounge singer on-the-lam who hides out in a convent.

Hilary Duff Returns To The TV World

Hilary Duff returns to the TV world in a big way. The former Lizzie McGuire teen sensation gets to star in a TV series on NBC. Duff just inked a 1 year exclusive talent and development deal with NBC to star in her own show and also guest appear on any NBC shows she wants too. Now that’s STAR POWER.

Wayans Munster Movie Almost Ready

The Wayans brothers twist on the 1950’s TV show The Munsters is almost ready for production. Shawn Wayans said in an interview the following:

“I’m almost ready. It’s almost ready to be shot,” Wayans said during a late night shoot on his newest film, the musical spoof “Dance Flick.” “We had to finish this movie and now we’re going through our third polish on ‘The Munsters.’” The Wayans first announced their involvement in the project four years ago, but Shawn says the film's basic format hasn’t really changed all that much in the four years since: they are still placing the family in modern times and they still don’t have any plans to star. “If we do anything, maybe we’ll do a cameo, but we’re not gonna make The Munsters black all of a sudden,” Wayans laughed. “They’re gonna be green, white people just like they were in the TV show. Their characters are still who they were in the ‘50s. It’s just in modern day.”

Nicole Kidman and Charlize Theron To Play Lovers

Nicole Kidman and Charlize Theron are going to play the role of two lovers in the up-coming film “The Danish Girl”. The film is based on a true story about two married Danish Artists who gained international attention when Einar (Nicole Kidman) had the first sex change operation.

It all started in the 1920s when Greta Wegener (Charlize) asked her husband Einar to stand in for a chick model she was supposed to paint. The portraits became the fucking shit in Denmark, so Greta asked her husband to keep up the charade. This leads to Einar deciding that he wants a vagina instead of a peen, so he gets it chopped off. This of course causes drama in their marriage.

Has She Lost Her Mind: Beyonce Wants To Play Wonder Woman

Beyonce has told the world via L.A Times that she wants to play Wonder Woman in a movie. Reports claim that B has already approached DC Comics and Warner Brothers about the idea (Oh God, hopefully they did not take her seriously.)

“I want to do a super hero movie and what would be better than Wonder Woman? She goes on to say that “it would be a very bold choice, a black Wonder Woman. It would be a powerful thing. Its time for that right? “

Ok, I am a black woman myself and I am all for empowerment but there is no way B can do the Wonder Woman character justice. I have been a huge fan of Wonder Woman since I was a little girl and I am very particular about my girl Wonder Woman. I don’t think B can pull it off. They need some one who embodies the beautiful Amazon woman image and who has the action hero ability. It needs to be believable.

B, you can play any super-hero except Wonder Woman. I have a suggestion; create your own Super Hero to play in a movie.

The much anticipated film Twilight is gearing up to hit the theaters. The internet is buzzing about this new film that showcases a strong passionate love between a young girl (Bella) and this mysterious vampire (Edward). Watch Out Anderson, NeNe Is Sending You Some Brown Sugar

Anderson Cooper raved to Ellen DeGeneres on her show about how she should start watching the Real Housewives of Atlanta because he just can’t get enough. He says he is a fan of the reality show that is the second installment of Bravo’s Housewives franchise.

"I like to keep a breast of the Real Housewives of Atlanta," Cooper said.

When Ellen admitted she doesn't watch the show, Cooper jokingly scolded her. "Honey," the CNN newsman said, "I don't even know where to begin with NeNe."

Referencing NeNe's ample top half, Cooper held his hands out from his chest and said, "You have to sort of watch to enjoy the fullness of NeNe."

NeNe Leakes one of the housewives gave e! Online an interview:

“She said her phone didn't stop ringing and the text messages didn't stop coming from friends and family who were watching Ellen at the time.”I told my husband, 'You know Anderson Cooper? He spoke about me,' ”Leakes said.”And he said, 'Anderson Cooper? The guy with the white hair? No, he didn't!' We think it's great. We love it."

So what does she have to say to Ms. DeGeneres for not being a viewer? "I need to update Ellen," Leakes said. "The girl is lost, and she needs to call me so I can let her know what Real Housewives of Atlanta is all about."

Leakes quickly forgave Cooper for mispronouncing her name (it's NeeNee, not NayNay), and now can't help imagine the fun times she thinks she could have with the silver fox. "I would just talk to him and keep it real," she said, adding, "Let's just get down and dirty and talk about whatever."

Then she laughed, "I'd wear a nice little top, since he's talking about my chest. I don't know if he's had any brown sugar."

Grey's Anatomy Backs Away From Gay Storyline

Grey’s Anatomy backs away from gay storyline and fires the actress. Brook Smith who plays Dr. Erica Hahn who recently realized she was gay was fired from the popular show. According to E! Online some of the gay themed storylines are going to be down played and even completely taken out from upcoming scripts. A source revealed that a recent love scene that involved Dr. Erica going down on another female doctor made ABC feel very uneasy and they put the hammer down so this is why all of the big changes.

Also the story involving another new character (played by Melissa George) who is bi-sexual and the love interest for Called; is said to be changed. “They changed the script and now she isn’t (love interest). She will flirt with Callie but that will be as far as it goes.”

The Executive Producer Shonda Rhimes released a statement about the dismissal:

"Brooke Smith was obviously not fired for playing a lesbian. Clearly it's not an issue as we have a lesbian character on the show -- Calliope Torres. Sara Ramirez is an incredible comedic and dramatic actress and we wanted to be able to play up her magic. Unfortunately, we did not find that the magic and chemistry with Brooke's character would sustain in the long run. The impact of the Callie/Erica relationship will be felt and played out in a story for Callie. I believe it belittles the relationship to simply replace Erica with 'another lesbian.' If you'll remember, Cristina mourned the loss of Burke for a full season."

ABC's Huge Mistake Causes Them To Say "Sorry"

The soap opera General Hospital Night Shift (Soapnet’s Soap Opera), Billy Dee Williams’s character held up a prop that upset a Georgia family. In a recent episode Williams’s character who works at the hospital as a janitor, looks at a photo of his son he abandoned long ago. ABC made a big oops, the photo was of a real boy named Christopher Barrios who was brutally murdered last year.

The boy’s Grandmother Sue Rodriquez said in an interview with KRXI “They have no right doing that, not a bit of right.”

ABC has issued the following apology: “While the production team would never have knowingly chosen this particular photo, its use was a terrible error. We offer our deepest condolences to the Barrios family for their loss and our sincerest apologies for any pain caused by our mistake. In the coming weeks, SOAPnet will air a series of public service announcements in Christopher’s honor, to raise awareness of missing and exploited children. Meanwhile, the episode is being edited to permanently remove the photo, and we have taken steps, including reviewing internal processes to determine how it happened in hopes of preventing this type of mistake from occurring again.”

Heroes New Season Seems To Be Struggling

Heroes new season starts off on a bad foot. So far Heroes has lost 2 million viewers since last season and just recently, two head writers/co-executives (Jesse Alexander and Jeph Loeb) were terminated due to the decline of excitement. The viewers are just not feeling this season’s story-line. It’s as though the writers were trying too hard and you could see it on screen.

Coming Soon reported that:

“The duo had been with the show since its first season and was known to have led the day-to-day production operation under the direction of creator/executive producer Tim Kring. “Heroes,” produced by Universal Media Studios, has struggled in the ratings its third season. It’s understood that Alexander and Loeb were let go because of NBC executives’ frustration with the creative direction of the show.”

Real and Chance Go GOLD

The Given Brothers best known as Real and Chance have gone gold with their new reality show “Real Chance of Love” on VH1. After both were sent home packing by New York on “I Love New York”; the two have decided to try and find love on their own reality style.

At first I thought oh no another so called find love reality show where people make fools out of themselves; but one late night I was bored and nothing was on so I decided to give the show a chance. Of course I was right, another dumb reality show where people make fools out of themselves but on the other hand I laughed my head off because Real and Chance together make a great comedic team. The two fellows just make those crazy moments much more funny and interesting.

Although the show has its typical formula of females: dumb, goofy, sluts, psycho, pretty blonde and the loud talking around the way girls; the producers have done a great job in editing and making the moment funny by adding sound effects and graphics.

Again Real and Chance totally make the show and I expect to see a part 2 & 3. I can’t wait for next week’s episode. With the way the economy is we all need a good laugh.

Britney Spears has invited all of her fans to join her for the biggest birthday celebration ever. The pop star is throwing herself a big birthday bash on Good Morning America with all the birthday trimmings (cake, ice-cream, dancing and a live concert).

The celebration will air live on GMA Tuesday, December 2nd on ABC. So be there or be square and make sure you bring your dancing shoes because Brit is going to rock the house.

According to Page Six, the Ugly Betty star and Lohan have been butting heads (basically they don’t like each other). In addition to them not likeing each other, Ferrera does not like Lohans wild side. Page Six also reports that in a scene where Betty was to pull down Lohan’s character pants; Lohan decided to do a Paris Hilton and not wear any underwear.

Lohan was set to appear in 6 episodes this season but now it has been cut to 4. Heck, I don’t blame America, no body wants to see LL’s va-jay-jay.

Travolta's Spy Movie BURNS UP

John Travolta’s new spy movie “From Paris with Love” had 10 of its cars that were being used in the film set on fire by some locals. The film’s production is taking place in the toughest housing projects in Paris. Cars are routinely burned to protest French policies.

According to reports filming has been suspended until producers can figure out how to proceed.
