3 Doors Down front-man Brad Arnold stopped the concert mid-song to go off on a man who allegedly hit a woman. A Fan's video from the 3 Doors Down concert in Broomfield, Colorado on July 14th catches it all on tape (except for the altercation)
The crowd goes wild as Brad tells the man, you don't hit a woman dude and calls him a name and then tells security to get him out of there.
Dr. Dre's The Chronic album is the first digital Hip-Hop album to be available on Apple's new streaming service. The album’s inclusion in the catalog is especially notable as it hasn’t yet been available digitally including through the iTunes Store or Beats Music.
According to Respect-mag and Rolling Stone magazine: That’s due in part to a legal battle over the rights to the record with Dr. Dre being awarded digital rights to the album in 2011 while the label Death Row holds the rights to physical sales. Dr. Dre, of course, co-founded Beats Electronics and Beats Music, which Apple acquired for $3 billion last year. Apple Music is based heavily on that acquisition with many elements from the Beats Music service present on Apple’s new streaming music service.

New Album: Emily King just released her new album The Switch on June 26th. The R&B/Soul singer returns with her 3rd LP which features 11 new songs. King never disappoints. SayWhatNews became a fan of Emily King back in 2007 with her hit East Side Story album and we immediately reached out and featured her on our November 2007 with an One on One interview.

New Video: Rapper Black Milk released his video for his song Story and Her. With his smooth mellow rhymes, Black Milk reflects on a night with a girl that turns dark.
Black Milk's rap style puts me in mind of Hip-Hop legend Mof Def. His delivery is mellow/low key but his technique is swift and aggressive. Only a small few have this ability and from the looks of it, Black Milk is showcasing his skills like a true master.
Watch the video for Story and Her:
Here is a list of Black Milk's remaining Summer tour dates:

Rihanna's new video for her hit song BBHMM has proven to be the best visual story of the Summer. Rihanna wearing the Directors hat, made sure this video entertained her fans and told the best visual story using the original formula of music videos from the 80,s and 90's when the video story went with the song.

Tamia's new album Love Life is her best album yet. The songstress has brought us hit after hit over the years but her latest album Love Life is a true work of art that displays Tamia's vocal range and showcases some smooth R&B sounds.
Now a days its rare that when you purchase an album, that you actually listen to it all the way through. With Love Life, you will find yourself singing along to every song on the album (Love Life is the only album I have been listening to in the car for the past few weeks since its release).
Love Life is for the mature audience, the songs provides a look into Tamia's life as a Married woman in love with her husband who enjoys making love when ever they can. As a fan who has enjoyed Tamia's music since her debut album back in 1997, self titled, Tamia, Love Life shows the singers growth professionally and personally.
I give this album the official stamp of my approval. You have to add this album to your collection. Tamia fans will love it and music fans who never really knew anything about the singer will surely become fans after listening to the album.

Tamia just announced on Twitter #LoveLife Tour dates:
Featured artist of the week is SoMo. The R&B singer has hit the music scene hard and has everyone noticing his smooth sound with his hit single "Ride".
I just happen to come across SoMo's song while listening to a radio station on iTunes one even and immediately became mesmerized with his voice and the catchy R&B song, "Ride" which describes his night in the bed with his girl and what he is going to do to her while they make love.
Check out the video:
Snippet from SoMo's bio:
Throughout 2012, the singer and songwriter began to buckle down and work on his first original music. His efforts in the studio yielded the independent debut mixtape, My Life. A powerful, palpable, and passionate collection, it merged R&B spirit with pop soul, showcasing his dynamic voice and songwriting prowess. Released for free on his birthday September 11, My Life opened up SoMo’s world.
“It was important to stand out,” he goes on. “On My Life, we implemented different styles to show I could write over any type of music. At the same time, it’s a cohesive story about my actual life since I started making music. There are party moments. There’s heartbreak. There’s love. It’s real.”
My Life spawned his first hit “Ride”. Without any radio support and no label at the time, the track began selling 10,000 digital tracks weekly, while its music video directed by Dan Gotti accumulated over 3 million views (Now at over 18 million). It offered a fitting introduction to SoMo with its sexy hook and slick, soaring, and seductive sound.
“It just happened one night,” he remembers. “A girl came over, and I was drinking some red wine. I started playing the piano, and I hit my favorite chord. I wrote the hook right away. I was deeply in love with this girl and the song essentially says, ‘I’m going to ride. I’d die for you. My love is forever’. Of course, there is that sexual element though. It’s fun.”

In honor of the 20th Anniversary of the death of the late Selena, Jennifer Lopez reprised her role from the film, Selena, which is the role that propelled her to stardom. The singer/actress paid tribute to Selena Quintanilla at the Billboard Latin Music Awards, which aired Thursday (April 30) on Telemundo.
And she did it with Los Dinos, the family band that backed up the Mexican-American Tejano star, who was tragically murdered 20 years ago.
A montage of photos of Selena flashed on the screens and then Lopez came out and channeled the fallen star with a series of her hits: "Como La Flor," "Bidi Bidi Bom Bom," "Amor Prohibido," "I Could Fall In Love," ending, perhaps appropriately, with "No Me Queda Mas."
OMG!!! This was such a beautiful tribute to Selena. Jennifer Lopez did an amazing job and seeing her family ( siblings Suzette and A.B., her father Abraham, and widow Chris Pérez) on stage performing was so touching it brought tears to my eyes.

Britney Spears sprains her ankle on stage during an performance but manages to keep on singing. Kudos to Brit for mustering up the strength to keep singing even though it was apparent she was in pain.
