Mulder and Scully are back and we have the first look at FOX's X-Files revival series via a new teaser trailer. The start of the teaser trailer features some old footage of X-Files but right near the end we get a sneak peek at Mulder and Scully (David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson) back in action:
FOX knows how to get fans excited and ready for the new X-Files series set to premiere January 24, 2016. The new teaser trailer is encouraging fans to re-familiarize themselves with the X-Files by spending the next 201 days watching an episode a day of the old series starting from the beginning where it all began.
First Plot Details Emerge:(Source: Denofgeek)
The first information from the set of The X-Files revival is slowly coming in. EW had the chance to travel to the Vancouver B.C. set of The X-Files and came away with a ton of new details about the revival, as well as some new images.
Reinforcing a few things that we already know about the new season, it seems Agents Mulder and Scully will be looking into the sudden disappearance of an alien abductee, portrayed by The Americans' Annet Mahendru. Joel McHale, a conservative talk show host, will be on the scene to tip our heroes off to the case.
We've also learned that Mulder and Scully will be in much different places from where we last saw them in 2008's The X-Files: I Want To Believe. David Duchovny points the EW reporter to his wardrobe as evidence of Mulder's current state. "Mulder’s not in a great place,” says Duchovny in a dirty gray t-shirt, shoelace-less shoes, sporting some five o'clock shadow. "He’s wearing bad jeans, so you can just extrapolate from my wardrobe. He’s in a dark, dark place."
"I like where we find Mulder and Scully in their relationship," Gillian Anderson adds. The article continues to praise Chris Carter's politically resonant script.
"The X-Files ended right after 9/11,” Carter says. “A lot has happened since then. A lot of rollback of rights and liberties in the name of our protection. We’re being spied on now, we’re being lied to — all things that, for me, remind me of when I grew up, which was right around Watergate. I think we’re in similar and much more dire times right now."
The last bit of news comes on the writing end. We already know that original series writers James Wong, Glen Morgan, and Darin Morgan will be back, but it is revealed that they'll be penning Monster-of-the-Week, the non-mythology driven, creature feature episodes that littered original seasons of the series. The titles of the episodes are "Mulder and Scully Meet the Were-Man" and "Home Again," but no, that's not a continuation of grotesque fan-favorite "Home." “We’re not going to reboot any of the old favorites, although it was something we all thought about,” says Carter. “These are all brand new stories. We hope to scare you in brand new ways."
We also learned that the first episode is called "My Struggle."
Arrow's Oliver Queen will get to rock a really cool new costume for season 4 of the hit CW series Arrow. During San Diego's Comic Con during the panel discussion Stephen Amell revealed the new costume and I must say its very fitting for the Super-Hero Green Arrow.
Storyline Scoop: Also revealed during the SDCC panel, Batman villain/ally Anarky will show up this year, as will Justice Society member, Mr. Terrific!
Season 4 premiere date is set for Wednesday, October 7th.

Beauty and the Beast recap: Last week we watched the demise of Ben and Carol. This week's episode that aired on July 16th, Chasing Ghost our favorite couple continue with trying to make plans for their wedding.
We kick-off the episode with Vincent and Cat visiting a church for the possible location for their nuptials. Cat says she loves the church and Vincent reminds her that she also liked the past 4 locations they looked at (sounds like Vincent is experiencing the headaches of wedding planning when the Bride to be is unable to make a decision lol). Cat starts talking about her fears of someone coming to look for Bob and Carol when Heather comes in with her bubbly sweet self ready to help plan the wedding and remind that that their two Aunts (their mother's sisters) are coming into town today.
Later Vincent catches up with Cat and Cat reveals she is regretting alllowing Heather to plan the wedding. Vincent reveals that he regrets waiting so long to reach out and reconnect with his family but little does he know that JT has been planning a Bachelor's Party and has invited his cousins. Cat not wanting to see her Aunts returns to the police station even though its her day off so she can look into Carol's case. Heather calls her wanting to know where she is because she had to pick up the Aunts on her own and is now struggling to bring in their huge luggage into the apartment. Tess covers for Cat and tells Heather she is working on a case and this gives Cat an hour to do her investigating and an hour longer to stay away from spending family time with her mother's sisters.
Cat finally shows up at her apartment and one of the Aunt's opens the door and faints because Cat looks so much like her mother. Once inside, Cat is forced to face her to Aunts who
pull out the old family photo albums and gush over Cat's mother's
memories. Cat is fighting back her emotions and is saved when she gets a call from Vincent.
Vincent's Bachelor's party starts and reuniting with his cousins seems to be going well until a female officer shows up asking for Vincent. Vincent almost freaks out thinking Cat is in trouble when the officer turns on some music and rips off her uniform to reveal she is a stripper. Gun-shits ring out from outside and the stripper's little routine is cut short.
Vincent and JT rush outside and the cousins follow. Some man is across the street up high on fire escape shooting at the people on the street. Vincent tells his family to stay back but hard headed Hank does not and is shot in the leg. Vincent fights with the man who has beast like qualities but the man passes out.
Cousin Hank is going to be ok. JT runs some test on the shooter and learns that he is not a pure super-human but has a parasite and has lost his powers and is normal again. Vincent suggest they go and visit Cat's father in prison and see what he knows. Dear old Dad is shocked to learn that someone has the secret serum to make super-humans. He gives them a little insight into what they are dealing with and also ask Cat if she looked at the box of her mother's things that he gave her a while back. Cat says no and they leave.
Tess is able to get Cat to forget about the case and go and have her Bridal party with her family and friends. But everyone keeps bringing up Cat's mom and how she would have loved to be there and how perfect dear old mom was. Cat who has been battling her mixed emotions for her mother after learning her mother is the one who made Vincent into a beast, finally blurts out that her mother is no saint and she is the one who hurt Vincent. The Aunts and Heather are completely shocked and thrown for a loop.
Vincent and Hank have a heart felt moment but it doesn't last long because apparently Hank is running for office and want to use Vincent's war hero story and image to help his cause. Vincent and JT go off on cousin Hank and Vincent says we may have the same last name but we are not family and walks off.
JT continues with his research on the parasite and his own blood. He learns that he has the same-thing running through his blood like Vincent. The two share a sweet brotherly moment.
Tess comforts Cat at the coffee shop after she went off at the Bridal shower. Later Cat drives and meet up with Vincent before he heads off on his hunt for the source who is creating these super-humans. Cat concludes that all this is not coincidental and that it is all related. Some how people are being infected through the mail.
Vincent tells Cat he thinks he can track the source down with his sense of smell just like her Dad suggested. Vincent tracks down the package just as someone is about to hand it off to a young man on a motorcycle and the chase is on. Vincent and Cat corner the guy on the roof top of a parking garage and they try to tell him he has been infected and its not a good thing. The guy doesn't believe them and he says that, oh you must be who they are looking for and starts snapping pictures of Cat and Vincent with a camera that's on top of his helmet. Apparently the camera was live and the pictures were sent immediately to their unknown enemy. The guy so high off the serum or protobeakst virus as they called it, thinks he can fly and make the jump over to the next building. He drives the motorcycle off the roof and plummets to his death.
Later, Cat finally watches her mother's video. Her mother reveals that she was caught up in something that she really didn't know about and tried to correct things once she learned what was going on. Cat finally forgives her mother. Cat and Vincent go back to the church from the beginning of the episode and share a sweet moment as she tells him about her mother. But then gas cans start breaking through the windows and the two take cover.

The Vampire Diaries favorite vampire brothers Ian
Somerhalder and Paul Wesley launched a charity T-Shirt campaign on Represent. And the best part of it besides donating to a great environmental cause is that fans who purchased the shirt in the first 24 hours of the campaign have a chance of winning a phone call from the Salvatore brothers (Ian and Paul).
Wesley Tweeted that a portion of the proceeds from sales will "help environment causes."
The T-shirts were designed by fan Kathryn Kij, the shirt – which comes in crew-neck and baseball styles – is significant for TVD trivia buffs with the words "Blood Brothers since 1864.
"You guys came through," said Wesley, 32, in a video posted to his Twitter account. "The Blood Brothers, on our chests – soon to be on your chests."
Season of TVD will premiere on October 8th.
The Vampire Diaries cast a trio of terror for Season 7. These three women are set to make the Salvatore brothers lives a living hell in the upcoming new season. It looks like Elena will be the last thing on Damon and Stefan's mind because they will have their hands full dealing with these three villians.
Here is what we know: Teressa Laine (Neighbours), Scarlett Byrne (Falling Skies) and Elizabeth Blackmore will be shaking things up in Mystic Falls. Laine and Byrne will play the roles of same-sex couple Nora and Mary Louise. Both characters are heretics who “wreak havoc.” Nora was described as boyish with a "sly sense of humor." Her character is less interested in coexisting with the residents of Mystic Falls but rather finds enthusiasm in revenge and turmoil. On the other hand, Mary Louise is the girly one who has a “ strong point of view, which she isn’t afraid to express."
Blackmore will play Valerie, one of Lily Salvatore’s (Annie Wersching) dangerous heretics, endowed with "powerful magic and a dark and moody attitude." Thanks to her nature, she will find it difficult to adjust to her life in Mystic Falls and will be opposing Lily’s instructions. Finally when things go her way, it will cause a "dangerous chain of events that will change the face of Mystic Falls."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, “The Vampire Diaries” executive producer Julie Plec teased that the trio are “nasty, nasty, nasty girls.” They were mentioned during the panel in last week’s Comic-Con.
Meanwhile, the panel also discussed how the death of Elena (Nina Dobrev) will affect the succeeding storyline:
Supernatural: Jeffrey Dean Morgan wants to reprise his role as Sam and Dean's Father, John Winchester. So, it looks like fans aren't the only ones hoping that Papa Winchester gets resurrected. Morgan revealed to TVLine that he to is wishing for his own resurrection:
“I would absolutely love to come back,” he says. “There’s no official talk that I know of, but I’m always in contact with Jared [Padalecki] and Jensen [Ackles] — they’re very good friends of mine.
“With me it’s always been about scheduling,” adds Morgan, who just booked a season-long stint on The Good Wife. “But hopefully we can find a little time and they’ll write something that I can do. It would be a great joy to go back and play with those guys.”
Morgan also revealed a very special request for his return: “I would love to have Jensen direct me, honestly.” he says. “I think that would be a very cool deal. That’s always what I’ve been pushing for.”
But wait there is more TVLine reports: At Comic-Con last weekend, executive producer Andrew Dabb hinted that Season 11 (bowing Oct. 7) will dredge up “some things” from Sam and Dean’s past that “we haven’t dealt with in a long time but will have some really interesting repercussions for both guys.”
Dabb later added that Morgan’s return was inevitable. “To me, it’s not if he comes back, it’s when. When’s the right time? When it’s going to be for maximum impact? What you don’t want to do is bring a character like that back and waste the opportunity.”
Its been 10 years since Morgan played John Winchester but never say never because we all know that people die and come back on Supernatural all the time. Let's keep are fingers crossed for this one.
Supernatural's Jared Padalecki revealed some details as to what to expect in Season 11. From the sounds of things Sam and Dean Winchester will be united again without any distractions or lies and their relationship will be strong like it was in the beginning of the show before demons, lies and Crowley interfered. Our favorite brothers will be a team once more.
Season 10 left us with Dean, Sam, Castiel and Crowley in dangerous positions with a few cliffhangers. Watch Jared during one of his Comic-con interviews give us a little scoop on season 11:
Jared Padalecki wrote a heart-felt thank you letter to his fans on Facebook for the love and support he received at Comic-Con. Over 7,000 fans lit candles in Padalecki honor showing their support of the star who revealed early in the year that he was battling depression.
“From the very bottom of my heart and my soul, thank you so much,” Padalecki wrote on Facebook after the event. “I will never forget this day. I will never forget the love that I felt, and still feel. And, to everybody who held a light for me, please know that I hold my light for you. Though I happened to be the one sitting on stage, I am but one small light in a see (sic) of thousands. TOGETHER, we can and will make a difference! Keep letting your light shine. I will do the same. And, keep fighting. Always Keep Fighting.”
The “Always Keep Fighting,” of course, refers to the T-shirt campaign Padalecki launched in full support of To Write Love on her Arms, which supports people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide.
On his website he writes: "I hope [the "Always Keep Fighting" campaign] helps people realize that they shouldn't be ashamed of what they are going through . . . I hope it helps people take pride in the fight that they have been fighting, and gives them a push to never give up or give in. I hope it helps inspire people to keep fighting no matter how hard it is."
Millions of people suffer from the mental illness depression including teens who feel they are all alone in the world. Jared who is such a manly man, tall good looking and talented and is a star on one of the top hit shows on TV; because he had the courage to reveal that he is battling depression, he has shown the world that it can happen to anyone and to not be ashamed. We love you Jared even more for your bravery and thank you for becoming a voice for those who feel they don't have one.

Once Upon A Time season 5 scoop: Emma turns dark (first look at Emma as the Dark One) and Brave's Merida comes to Storybrooke.
From the looks of things Emma Swan is having a hard time fighting the darkness. The Savior has turned completely dark. Check out her new all black costume and slicked back hair in a bun. At the end of season 4, Emma (Jennifer Morrison) sacrificed herself to take in the Dark One's dark magic after it was accidentally freed. After the smoky cloud of dark magic entered Swan's body she disappeared. Well, in the teaser trailer shown at Comic-Con, Swan aka the new Dark One is in the Enchanted Forest — specifically what appeared to be the prison that used to house Rumplestiltskin — a peasant delivers food to the prisoner (the new Dark One). — “They said you were a monster,” he said after being shocked to see a beautiful woman. Emma rips out her captor’s heart and replies, “Only on the inside,” before crushing it.
Jennifer Morrison had this to say about her character becoming dark during one of her Comic-Con interviews: “Emma went through a lot in her life,” Morrison said. “She had a tough childhood. She’s had to overcome a lot of things. She’s tried to be the bigger person. Now that she’s tethered to the darkness, she’s free of that … She’s going to face the darkness in herself and figure out how to overcome it.”

Brave's Princess Merida will be coming to Storybrooke. During Comic-Con it was revealed that Merida played by Amy Manson (Being Human) will make her debut during season 5 premiere. "She's already shot some stuff," co-creator Adam Horowitz told a group of reporters at Comic-Con. "She becomes very much a part of the story as we pick up with Emma being the Dark One and Emma's family trying to help her not be the Dark One."
Watch the teaser for Merida's arrival:
Once Upon A Time has cast the roles of King Arthur, Merlin, Guinevere and Percival. Meet the Camelot cast: Liam Garrigan will play King Arthur, Elliot Knight (How to Get Away with Murder) will play Merlin, new comer Joana Metrass will play Guinevere and Andrew Jenkins (Wayward Pines) will guest star as Percival. Also Sinqua Walls will return and reprise the role of Lancelot.
Now that Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) has become the new Dark One, her family was told they need Merlin to help them get the Savior back from the dark side. You can not have Merlin without Camelot.
According to EW: executive producers Adam Horrowitz and Edward Kitsis promised they’ll put their “own twist on Camelot, on Arthur’s background and on his relationships with Merlin, Guinevere and Lancelot.”
Season 5 premieres September 27th.
